Parents who have been in the school over recent months may have seen works progressing in the garden area opposite Prep classrooms, by the path down to the playground. Our Education Facility Attendants, Lois Hutchison and Peter Debono have cleared what was an empty space after a big water tank was removed.  This has been edged and filled with grey metal.  A rock path has been added, along with a timber frame over the top, which wisteria will in time grow up and around to create a peaceful arbour in which to to sit. 

Thanks to our Student Representative Council who provided funds to help create Cheryl's Garden, in memory our our previous Principal, Cheryl Kingston, who passed away in 2018. A plaque in her memory is attached to the seat which has now been installed.  Mrs Kingston's favourite colour has been acknowledged through the planting of a red camellia.  

Our thanks too to John Henshaw, who constructed a book box which is now attached to the wall.   We are seeking donations of secondhand children's books to be able to leave in the box so that children can choose a book to read while they sit on the seat.
