3-4 & 4-5 Celebrations
3-4E & 3-4EM
Students in 3-4 Eiszele have been reading the novel “Wonder”.
It tells the story of a boy with facial differences who enters school for the first time. The book has so many messages of kindness and acceptance of others.
We chose our favourite messages from the book and made posters.
Indy- “When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind.”
Charlotte - “No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted.”
Chaz- “Kind words don’t cost much, yet they accomplish much”
Sam – “You can always give someone something – even if it only kindness”
Science investigations about Heating and Cooling
Grade 3-4 Ellis and Wilson have been investigating and understanding that a change of state between a solid and a liquid can be caused by adding or removing heat.
We have conducted experiments to find out which solids cool and melt the fastest out of honey, detergent, milk, and water. We all made predictions and were surprised by the results. We concluded that substances containing the most ingredients froze and melted the quickest.

3-4T
In 3-4 Turner, we put ourselves to the test with an indoor 'Race Around the World' with the help of Mrs Eiszele before she takes her baby break. The students had to work together in teams of three to complete ten challenges around the room. Students started off with an entry ticket challenge and then were able to take it in turns to complete the rest of the course. The students showed excellent resilience when things got tricky and encouraged each other to keep going. Overall, we had a lot of fun in the process. Good luck in the coming weeks Mrs Eiszele.

4-5KB
In Grade 4-5, we are learning about the Solar System. We are understanding how the universe was formed, what gravity is and how much we would weigh on each planet!
We are also making our own solar system from Papier Mache.
