Principals Report
Student Collection Point
Students that are collected at the end of the school day will continue to be picked up from the Japanese Garden area near Minimbah and the new Prep building. To assist us in being accountable for every student and ensuring their safe departure from school, parents (or whoever collects the student) will begin signing for students as they are collected. This will provide us with clarity around how students have left school in case there are any issues with children being collected.
Parents & Friends Fundraising Committee
The students at Boat Harbour Primary School have been extremely fortunate for many years to be supported by a wonderful team of volunteers that fundraise to provide opportunities and resources for our students. To assist the fundraising committee moving forward, nominations for Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary are being called. Nomination forms can be collected from the school office and will need to be returned by Friday 13th March.
This committee is eager for as many people as possible to be involved in a variety of different and creative fundraising events. Even if you can’t attend all meetings they would love for you to still be involved in any way that you can. A new Facebook page has been created that is open to everyone to help with communication, so please feel welcome to connect with the page and share fundraising thoughts and to assist with organising. 2020 is set to be an enjoyable year, we look forward to you being involved, having fun while raising some valuable funds for every student at Boat Harbour Primary School.

Things that will be covered include Schoolzine, Seesaw, communication, expectations, routines, and plans for the year. Behaviour expectations will be discussed, ensuring parents are fully aware of the expectations for acceptable classroom behaviour at Boat Harbour Primary School.
