As part of our student leadership opportunities, Boat Harbour Primary School is offering an opportunity for Grade 5 students, SRC Executive members, Library Monitors, House Leaders and Grade 6 students who are unable to attend the Grade 6 trip to Canberra next month to attend the GRIP Student Leadership Conference in Burnie next Wednesday, 19th February, 2020.

This workshop is being run by GRIP Leadership and will focus on the skills of a leader, positive impact on school life, goal setting, public speaking and balancing responsibilities.  Students will also be able to meet and network with student leaders from other schools.  We expect this to be a very valuable and positive experience for our students.

To ensure students arrive at the Burnie Town Hall on time, students will need to be at school ready to leave by 8.10am.  We will return to school at 2.55pm.  Full school uniform and a packed snack, lunch and drink will be required on the day.

Notes were sent home yesterday to these students, and permission forms are to be returned to school by tomorrow, Friday, 14th February, 2020.
