The Boat Harbour Primary cross country for P - 6 will be held on Friday, 20th September - in the event of poor weather on Friday, 27th September. 

For Prep - Grade 2 students, events will commence after recess at 11.00am and run on the school fitness track and surrounds. For the primary grades 3 - 6 events will commence at 11.30 am and will be held on the school grounds and surrounds.

Grades 3 - 6 children will have the choice of entering the medal event (this involves two laps of the course, double points for the school house, participation certificate and first to fifth placegetters certificate) or the fun run event (this involves  one lap of the course, participation certificate and single house points)

As this is a school house competition all children participating will earn points for their house.

Parents are more than welcome to come and support the children.

We do request parents pack a complete change of clothes including underwear and shoes for your child, as the grass is wet and we do not want children sitting around in wet clothing.

For the grade 3 - 6 events we will require 6 parents to man checkpoints around the course.  Please leave your name at the office of you can assist.

Cross country running is challenging and the children will be encouraged to complete the course to the best of their ability.  For this reason, all participants P - 6 will receive a certificate of participation for completing the course.
