Prep/1 Students Celebrate 100 Days of School!

In HASS, our Prep/1 classes have been investigating how significant events are celebrated or commemorated. Through stories, discussions, and hands-on activities, students have explored the meaning behind special days and how different families and communities mark important occasions. Their curiosity and reflection have led to some wonderful class discussions.

Last week, to conclude our inquiry unit, our enthusiastic Prep/1 students marked a major milestone—100 Days of School—with a celebration they planned themselves! With creativity, collaboration, and a whole lot of excitement, the students took charge of organising the event, from decorations and activities to invites.

The week was filled with exciting moments: students proudly wore their “100 Days Smarter” crowns, shared collections of 100 items, and participated in fun, themed activities. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to reflect on how much they’ve grown and learned since the start of the year.

A big congratulations to our Prep/1 students for showing such initiative and teamwork. What a fantastic way to celebrate our learning!
