It has recently been reported by local residents that there have been numerous near misses as cars leaving the school via Dobson's Lane have not given way to through traffic.  Dobson's Lane is a public road and vehicles leaving the school via this exit need to give way to traffic.

Residents have also reported that cars are being parked on the grass verges on the side of Dobson's Lane while parents are collecting children from school, which is increasing the danger for children who have to go onto the road to get into cars.

Parking on the sides of Dobson's Lane also restricts access by residents, farmers and the local fire brigade who all frequent this lane.  It is also the only access to the Boat Harbour Fire Station, and it is important that vehicles do not hinder the brigade as they serve our community.
