On Tuesday the 13^th of August, all Grade 5/6 students attended the North West Primary School Sports Expo. Everyone got to choose a sport to participate in for the day and our school attended football, soccer, king of the court, tennis and basketball. We all had a great day learning new skills and meeting students from other schools. There was wonderful sportsmanship, participation and encouragement shown on the day. Here are some of our highlights:

I liked how we got to join teams with other schools, and they were all friendly and shared the ball with us – Hunter

I liked how they taught us the skills we needed before we played a game. They showed us technique and gave us tips for playing tennis – Lucy

Footy involved lots of running and kicking goals which was good – Remy

We got to join with Riana in footy and it was good to play with them and help some new players – Harry

It was challenging doing a sport that I hadn’t played before - Billie
