4D Art Competition
Dixon’s Pharmacy Art Competition
Our students had a fantastic opportunity to showcase their sculptures at the Dixon’s Pharmacy Art Competition. Our display received a highly positive response from the community, providing the public a chance to witness the students’ innovation and creativity.
The students thoroughly enjoyed creating these sculptures, learning various folding techniques and the art of upcycling. They used books discarded by the State Library, which would have otherwise been repulped or thrown away. This project taught students that old books can be reused or repurposed, showing them that creating art can be an inexpensive and resourceful activity. They discovered how to turn discarded materials into wonderful works of art.
Our book sculptures were on display for a week, allowing the community to vote and express their support. Although our sculptures are no longer on display, you can still vote until the end of next week. Please support our school by casting your vote.
