On Friday, students from year 6 had the opportunity to listen to and work with Ian and Codey from Sustainable Timber Tasmania as part of Schools Tree Day. They learnt how to use a tree planter and how many trees one person can plant a day, which was up to 3000! The students look forward to returning to the school in years to come to see how the trees they have planted are growing, with some even giving their trees a name.
