This term 3D are learning about money. So far this term, we have learnt about different coin values and equivalent money values, as well as making change.

Students have participated in a variety of class games such as ‘Follow Me’ and ‘Bingo’. The most exciting element of our money unit so far has been the class shop. Students have had the opportunity to earn a weekly allowance as well as earn money doing class challenges, games and by going above and beyond in the classroom. When making a purchase, students fill in a receipt form where they calculate the cost of the items as well as change the customer should receive.

Students have enjoyed the real-world application of money  and are looking forward to the rest of the unit!
