On Wednesday afternoons Preps have Music with Mrs Matthews, this term we have been focusing on keeping a beat. Students listened for, moved to, used body percussion and percussion instruments to play the beat in music.

• Eleanor – beats can go fast and slow.
• Adele – a steady beat makes a boom noise that repeats.
• Xyla – beats can change in different music; I like playing the instruments in music.
• Henry – Your heart makes a beat like a beat in a song.
• Quinn – I like making different sounds with the instruments and playing the beat to the music.
