Eisteddfod Choirs

Both our Junior and Senior choir groups will be attending Eisteddfod next week.

Senior Choir
This Choir will be performing at the Burnie Arts and Function Centre on Monday, 24th June. The section starts at 9:15am and Boat Harbour Primary Choir will be No. 11 out of 12 choirs performing.

Children will leave school at 8:40am on the bus and return to school by 12:00pm. All choir members are asked to meet Miss Turner and Miss Nicholls at 8:30am in the hall ready to catch the bus. Children will need to take their bags with a snack and drink inside to have at the Civic Centre.

Junior Choir
This choir will be performing at the Burnie Arts and Function Centre on Tuesday, 25th June.  The Grade 2 and under section is the first section of the afternoon, beginning at 1.00pm.

The BHPS Junior Choir will be the first choir performing.  Children will leave school by bus at 12.00pm, accompanied by Mrs Baker and Mrs Donaghue, and return to school by 2.50pm.

All choir members are expected to be neatly dressed in their winter school uniform, consisting of a clean short sleeved school maroon polo shirt (jumpers/jackets will be taken off to perform).  Girls will need a school skirt with white socks or grey stockings, and boys will need grey school trousers/pants. Shoes should be clean, preferably black. Long black pants are acceptable for both girls and boys.

There is no cost for your child but if you wish to be in the audience at the Arts & Function Centre there will be an entry fee of $5.00 per adult, $2.00 per child over 4 to be paid to the Eisteddfod Society on the day.

A reminder that no cameras or videos are to be used at the Centre or a disqualification of that school choir could occur.
