Matific Maths Olympiad: Celebrating Excellence in Mathematics

This term, students were presented with an exciting opportunity to engage in a captivating online mathematics competition. Drawing participants from more than 20 countries, the Matific Maths Olympiad stands as a global platform for mathematical prowess. The event, spanning 5 days, is a highlight in the academic calendars of Australia and New Zealand.

During the competition, my students rose to the challenge and completed an impressive total of 1108 targeted curriculum activities. Among them, a remarkable nine students achieved the coveted milestone of earning the maximum of 150 stars. Their dedication and commitment propelled our class into the distinguished top 10%, resulting in an impressive accumulation of nearly 3000 stars.

In recognition of their outstanding performance, the top three students will be bestowed with a special certificate of achievement, accompanied by an exclusive Matific T-Shirt. This achievement stands as a testament to their dedication and mathematical prowess.
