5/6s have been inspired by elementary art teacher and blogger Cassie Stephens to create their own abstract word art, injecting some of their own personality into the classroom. 

Using a permanent marker, students had to create a rough border around the edge of their paper as well as use organic lines to make 3 or more sections. In those sections, students were asked to include their name as well as their interests or hobbies. Washable markers and watercolour pencils were used to achieve the bright, tie-dye like effect.
