Principal's Report
Your Thanks is Enough
To our student families,
Thank you so much for being a part of another wonderful year at Boat Harbour Primary School. It has been an honour to be a part of your child’s/children’s learning and we wish you all a very relaxing Christmas holiday period together.
As we come into the Christmas break we as staff are very lucky to often receive your very heartfelt messages of thanks and at times - Christmas gifts.
We would like to remind all our families that your thanks alone is enough and that no gifts are necessary. We have loved watching your child grow and learn throughout the year- and that in itself is our thanks.
If gift giving is something you feel strongly about, then we would greatly appreciate very small gifts only. A picture drawn or a card written by your child, or a homemade item are often our most treasured gifts. As Department for Education, Children and Young People employees it is inappropriate that we accept substantial tokens of appreciation.
We thank you again for a lovely year and have enjoyed working with you and your child/children.
Regards,
Peter

So proud!
Recently Harry Gatenby travelled to Brisbane, representing Tasmania while competing against the best runners from across Australia. Harry ran in the 1500m and 800m, and in an outstanding effort, placed in the top 10 in both his races! We are all so very proud of you Harry, your work ethic, commitment and determination make you a fantastic role model, well done.
