Swimming

It is wonderful to have our Kinder to Grade 2 participating in swimming at the moment.  Building water awareness in our children is essential, particularly given the environment we live in.  Our community is surrounded with dams, rivers, creeks and the coastline – swimming safety and awareness assists our students in being safe within our community.  Students have enjoyed the opportunity to swim and have demonstrated enthusiasm and growth over the past two weeks.

Our Grade 3 – 5 students will soon participate in their swimming programs at the Burnie pool.  These students have an opportunity to develop their swimming and water skills at their level, accessing swimming teachers that will assist their growth.

Camp

Our Grade 6 students travelled around the State last week while on their camp.  Students visited many activities and learning opportunities, laughed, made new friendships and grew together.  Congratulations to all students for making the camp a massive success.  The feedback from the public and providers about our students was excellent. Some even going to the effort of emailing our school to highlight the exceptional behaviour and manners our students exhibited.  Well done everyone.

Assemblies

Our mid-term assemblies will be held next Thursday, 17th November. Kinder - Grade 2 begins at 9:15am, the 3-6 (including 2-3W) will begin at 11:15am. Assemblies are a fantastic opportunity to showcase learning and celebrate student achievements. We hope to see you there.
